Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) in Document Dispatch component. You can use the N1_DOC_PREPARE_ADDR BAdI to edit the document recipient. You control the determination of the document recipient using the recipient type. For some recipient types the determination of the recipient occurs automatically. If no recipient can be determined automatically, you can preset the recipient with the N1_DOC_PREPARE_ADDR BAdI. This BAdI also allows you to post-edit the recipient address.
You should note that no standard implementation is available for this BAdI.
Recommendation
You should always execute recipient presetting or address post-editing depending on a recipient type. You must enter the recipient type when entering the recipient. The system executes automatic recipient determination for the following recipient types:
- Patient
- Referrer (requesting OU)
- Referring Physician
- Family Physician
- External Hospital
- Insurance
- Physician
If the automatic recipient determination cannot determine a recipient, you can use the BAdI to preset the recipient. If a recipient has been specified, you can then use the BAdI to post-edit the recipient address.
If the automatic recipient determination and the BAdI implementation cannot determine a recipient, you will access the detail screen to enter the recipient. You can enter the recipient in the detail screen. You can post-edit a recipient address with the BAdI.
Standard settings
The BAdI is not active as standard.
This BAdI cannot be used multiple times and is also not filter-dependent.
