Use

In this IMG activity, you make the system settings for the search engine service at client level.

Requirements

  • The search engine is installed and its server processes are running.
  • The search engine can be accessed via a gateway.
  • The gateway can be accessed from the available R/3 system via an RFC destination.
    You can use transaction SM59 to edit RFC destinations.

Standard settings

As you define the names of the RFC destination yourself, no standard settings can be delivered for this.
For the remaining parameters there are standard settings that you can leave as they are.
