Using the BAdI LE_WM_SUTYPE_HU, you can change the storage unit type (SU type) when you create a handling unit (HU) in the Warehouse Management system (WMS).

The system calls the BAdI LE_WM_SUTYPE_HU according to the parameter IV_KZRUF following creation of the SU type via the table T319A.

The system does not call the BAdI LE_WM_SUTYPE_HU if you create a HU for a posting change notice.

Requirements

The system only calls the BAdI for Handling Units (HUs).

Standard settings

The Business Add-In is not active in the standard system.

The Business Add-In is not filter dependent.

The Business Add-In cannot be used multiple times.

Activities

You define the calling position of the BAdI via the parameter IV_KZRUF.

To activate the Business Add In, you must create an active implementation. To do this, go to the Customizing for Warehouse Management, and choose Business Add-In.
