Here you can assign the sales area to a company code. This is necessary for cross-company code operations.
Use
If you allow cross-company code settlement in your organizational structure or if you use external settlement (for example, settlement including joint ventures/work cooperatives), you have to make settings for the appropriate ship-to party (account assignment objects) here.
Notes
If you only use internal activity settlement (cost allocation), you do not need to make any settings here.

Cross-Company Code Settlement:
Shipping of an excavator (account assignment object, PM order, company code 0001, sales organization/distribution channel/division 0001/01/01) from construction site A (account assignment object, WBS element, company code 0002) to construction site B (account assignment object, WBS element, company code 0003).
