You can maintain control parameters for posting EDI incoming invoices or credit memos and constants (for example, posting key, document type) here.

You must maintain the following parameters:

  • Transfer Flag

    You can enter information on the invoice transferred by the EDI partner here. For example, you can enter:

    • whether you want a batch input session to be created instead of posting directly

  • Entries for Posting

    For posting, you can determine:

  • which document type you want to use if an invoice has been transferred via EDI
  • which posting key you want to be used for debit/credit postings to G/L accounts and credit accounts

Activities

Maintain control parameters for posting EDI incoming invoices and credit memos.

Additional Information

Since ISO codes are transferred via EDI messages, you also have to maintain the tables for countries, currencies and units of measurement. These tables have already been correctly maintained in the standard system. You can find further information on this in the chapters listed below (in Customizing under "General Settings").
