In this IMG activity you define the features of the additional reference object (ADDREFOBJ) field.
The additional reference object defines whether a service is an individual telephone number (single-line connection) or a group of telephone numbers (multi-line connection).
The reference object ID (ADDREFOBJID) field defines which search field is to be accessed in the IST_TDATA table during assignment of a document item to a service. The entry in this field therefore defines whether an entry (via the OBJECT_ID field) or a group of entries (via the GROUP_ID field) is to be found. Example
In a multi-line connection with 3 associated telephone numbers, the three entries for telephone numbers in IST_DATA are grouped under the same entry in the GROUP_ID field and can then be assigned to the "basic charge" document item in the multi-line connection.
The interface for document transfer from an external billing system to SAP RM-CA makes default entries in the additional reference object, reference object ID and service type (SERVICE) fields in the DFKKOP table.
The criterion for summarization of documents from the billing system should be reflected in the additional reference object. Abstract object definitions may also be useful. You can display additional reference objects in the account balance display by setting the corresponding list variant at item level.
