In this IMG activity, you copy selected or all of the assignments of organizational units (OUs) to cost centers, which you made for the purpose of internal activity allocation (IAA), into the table containing organizational unit-to-cost center assignments for revenue account assignment.
Example
Let us assume you assigned the OU 4711 to cost center 4711 for activity allocation.
If you want to use the same assignment for revenue account assignment, you can simply copy this assignment using the auxiliary program called using this IMG activity.
Requirements
- Before going ahead with the copy, check that the entries you want to copy do not exist in the target table.
- Pay particular attention to the validity of the assignments. They must not overlap and must not contain gaps.

Recommendation
The same cost center assignments are frequently used for IAA and revenue account assignment. SAP recommends to maintain the assignments for IAA first, and then to copy these entries into the assignment table for revenue account assignment.
