Use

The Business Add-In (BAdI) IS-H: Function Execution in Occupancy Views (ISH_WP_VW123_FUNC) enables you to execute customer-specific functions in the Occupancy, Departures, and Arrivals views in the Clinical Work Station. The system calls the BAdI whenever you call a function in these views.

Note

As of SAP ECC Industry Extension Healthcare 6.0, you can centrally implement your customer-specific functions for all view types in the Clinical Work Station using the BAdI ISH_FUNCTION_CALL of the enhancement spot ES_ISH_CLINICAL_WORKSTATION.
For new functional enhancements of the clinical work station, it is recommended that you use the new BAdI and, if possible, centrally implement your existing enhancements using this BAdI.

Activities

To implement the BAdI, proceed as follows:

  1. Use the transaction SE19 to create an implementation of the BAdI in the customer namespace.

    Note: This implementation does not yet have any program code for the method.

  2. The interface of your implementation contains the method MODIFY. Double-clicking on the method takes you into the editor, where you can write your own code from scratch, or use the sample implementation as a template.
  3. Once the code is complete, you must activate the implementation so the application programs can execute the modification. Only one implementation can be active at any given time.
