Whenever you cancel treatment appointments, for example, you can specify a reason for cancellation. You can specify reasons for canceling movements in all movement transactions as well as for provisional appointments in Outpatient Clinic Management.

Activities

You define reasons for cancellation for a specific institution using a 3-digit key and a text field. Reasons for cancellation currently have no active control function in the system.

  • If you want to use the respective reason for cancellation in the movement environment, flag the M checkbox.
  • If you want to use the respective reason for cancellation for IS-H*MED requests, flag the L checkbox.
  • Note that if you are using IS-H*MED, you can select additional options:
    • S: Surgery
    • T: Transport order
    • I: Billing document (invoice)

Examples of Reasons for Cancellation

  • Canceled by patient
  • Rescheduled by hospital
  • Equipment not available
