Maintain Settings for Internet-Enabled Estimated Invoice
The estimated invoice functionality was specially developed for the country version Singapore.
As of IS-H Release 4.61, SAP has enhanced this functionality by making the estimated invoice available as an Internet transaction (EWT). This application is not restricted to the country version Singapore. For general information about the estimated invoice and its Customizing, please see the respective documentation.
This Customizing table lets you stipulate the treatments that are to be displayed for selection when the user executes the estimated invoice transaction via the Internet. For the respective treatment, you have to stipulate a "treatment" code of your choosing (OP08, for example), and must enter a descriptive text for this code (delivery, for example). The remaining fields correspond to the fields you have to fill on the estimated invoice screen, if you were to start it in the conventional way in the SAP system (program RNAEBILL, or transaction NA70).
The process flow is as follows: A user / patient calls the estimated invoice via their Iternet browser. They select a treatment date and a treatment, and start their query. The two specifications the user made are used to read the appropriate entries in this Customizing table, and, in principle, to simulate the filling of the screen fields of the transaction. The values determined in this way serve to assemble and further process the data for the estimated invoice in the SAP system. The result is displayed in a table in the user's browser (for example, price of particular accommodation categories or classes, price of surgery, estimated duration of treatment, overall costs, advance payment).
As an alternative to filling the various fields of the Customizing table, you can specify your own function module for the treatments that assembles the required data in accordance with your needs.
