In this IMG activity, you make settings for risk factors and drug allergies.
Use
Risk information comprises risk factors and drug allergies. Risk factors and drug allergies are values that are assigned directly to the patient and are available for all treatments. At the start of a treatment, the IS-H System imports these values from the Ministry of Health's NPMI database. Changes to these values which become apparent during the treatment are reported to the NPMI database on completion of the treatment.
Note
NPMI relevant data and functions are not available for the country version Canada.
Example
Possible risk factors for a patient include:
- Diabetes mellitus
- Recovered myocardial infarction
- Carrier of pacemaker
Drug allergies could include:
- Barbiturates
- Iodine
- Foreign protein
