Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) enables you to influence the determination of the department status of Basic Medical Documentation to supplement the possibilities provided in Customizing.

Primarily, you control department status determination by means of Customizing for SAP Patient Management. Dependent on the institution and case- and movement-related data of a case, you can use this BAdI to override the department status determined from Customizing. You can only select a status that is compatible with the case's status profile, or delete the status. In this case, a status is not set, even though one was determined from Customizing settings.
