In this IMG activity, you define the dependencies for revenue account determination. To do this, you create an account determination table containing as its keys the combination of criteria on which account determination is to be based. Possible criteria for patient accounting are:
- Institution
- Case type
- Service catalog
- Service
- Charge type
- Insurance provider type
Example
If you want to determine different revenue accounts by means of the charge type, you could create a table within the customer name range (e.g. 800) with the following fields:
- Chart of accounts
- Institution
- Charge type
Requirements
Standard settings
The IS-H System includes the predefined account determination tables 400 and 401.
Recommendation
Check if the account determination tables predefined by SAP are suitable for your purposes. If this is not the case, define alternative or additional account determination tables.
Activities
From the field catalog, choose the fields that are relevant for the table you are creating, then generate the table.
Further notes
When you create a new account determination table, the system automatically includes the following fields:
- Application (V for IS-H)
- Condition type (account determination type)
- Chart of accounts
