Use
In this IMG activity, you place old EDI status management records in temporary storage.
Placing old EDI status management records in temporary storage helps to improve the runtime of EDI message processing. The number of message status records in the central status management file (table NC301S) is reduced by storing all records prior to a selectable key date in a secondary file (NC301T).
The message records stored in the secondary file are not deleted. However, once stored, they can only be used to a limited extent. When case data is subsequently archived, the records in temporary storage are also archived.
You can display the messages in temporary storage using the program RNCEDIUA2C. You can display message control records in temporary storage for a certain case in the EDI case overview. To access the EDI case overview, select Communication -> EDI -> EDI Workbench in the SAP Easy Access menu. From here, select Goto -> Case overview EDI.
With the Undo temporary storage function, you can transfer the stored message control records from both display variants back to the central status management file.
