Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Sales and Distribution (SD) component.
You can use this BAdI to prepare the data records that are to be saved in the outgoing royalties (OR) data collector. These data records are transferred to the settlement data collector in Intellectual Property Management (IPM) in a bundled format using an SAP adapter.
This BAdI is accessed when a billing document is created in SD and the system creates a message of the IPMO message type.
Requirements
You must activate business function ERP_IPM_BACKEND_1 (IPM, Industry-Independent Back End) in enhancement package 5 for ERP 6.0 together with enhancement package 1 of SAP CRM 7.0 to enable product sales data to be transferred.
Standard settings
The standard system does not contain an active BAdI implementation.

You must implement this BAdI if sales data from SD is to be taken into account when determining outgoing royalties in IPM. You must enter the values or quantities required to determine outgoing royalties.
You must create an implementation and activate BAdI interface IF_EX_IPM_ENHANCE_RAW_RECORD
Example
To view the example coding, display the enhancement implementation on the SAP Easy Access screen by choosing Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Utilities -> Business Add-Ins -> Implementation. Enter IPM_ENHANCE_RAW_RECORD_EXMPL on this screen.
