Use
In this Customizing activity, you determine which sections must appear in a report that the reporting framework generates and displays in an ALV grid or ALV list. You also define the data dictionary structure for each section on the basis of which the system collects the content of the report as required by law or the corresponding authorities. You can define the sections at report group, report ID, or report version level.
Requirements
You have completed the following activities:
- Set up a data dictionary structure of internal tables for each section of a report.
- Specified data source types for each report section in the Customizing activity Specify Data Source for Report Section.
Standard settings
Activities
Enter data as follows:
- Identify each section with a key and assign the corresponding data dictionary structure you have created for the given section to the key. In the Long Text field, you can enter a description or an explanatory name for each section.
For each section, you can assign a data dictionary structure that contains the data structure of supplementary data for the given report section in the Dict. Structure of Section Supplementary Data field. The reporting framework will display the supplementary data for each section on the report output (ALV grid or ALV list output). In the ALV grid, the system displays the supplementary data as header data on the screen. If you want to use an ALV list output format, you can specify in the corresponding data dictionary structure where you want the data to be displayed for each section in the Customizing activity Define Report Sections.
You can use events 1080 or 1090 to transfer these data in the XML or PDF-based outputs as well.
Note:
You need to enter the sections in sequential order.
- Specify the data source type for the given report section.
- Enter the data source ID.
