Use

In this Customizing activity, you specify primary keys for a report section. The primary key can be used in the background as an internal key to identify the key row for the following purposes:

  • To identify a value quickly
  • To collect values for cross-check

A primary key can consist of more than one column in the data dictionary structure. In this case, you need to group the columns by creating a key group and assigning all the columns to it.

Activities

To do so, proceed as follows:

  1. On the Key Group screen, enter a key group ID and a description, indicate whether the values will be used as an internal key, and choose a character separator.
  2. Select the row and double-click the Key Group Columns.
  3. On the Key Group Columns screen, enter the column names and the sequential number of the columns in which order you want the data to be displayed.
