Use
In this Customizing activity, you activate the the function of generating official document numbers for a company code.
The system proceeds as follows:
- By selecting the checkbox, you activate the generation of ODN function for a company code. When a new accounting document is created for the given company code, the system automatically generates an official document number for that.
Note:
After you activated the ODN function for a company code, you must additionally assign number groups to the relevant company code in the Customizing activity Assign Number Group to Company Code.
- If you do not select the checkbox, the system does not generate official document numbers for the accounting documents of the given company code.
