Use

To ensure that the numbering of your official financial documents is sequential within each company code, it is necessary to assign a unique number group to each company code. This Customizing activity enables you to create number ranges for each number group using a copy function. When you copy the number group from the source number range to a new number range, the system automatically creates the number range for the target number group.

Requirements

  1. You have created both the source and target number groups using the Maintain Number Groups Customizing activity.
  2. You have created the corresponding number ranges in the source number group using the Maintain Number Ranges Customizing activity.
