Use

In this activity, you specify the accounts to which the provisions are posted. You need a provision account for the debit postings and a sales deduction account (or another expense account) for the credit postings.

Account determination occurs on the basis of the chart of accounts, the valuation area, and the provision method.

  2. Specify Periods and Amount of Reserve for Bad Debt (New)

Standard settings

Activities

  1. For each combination of chart of accounts, valuation area, and provision method, specify the debit and credit accounts for posting the provision.
  2. Save your settings.
