Use
If line item management has been activated subsequently, you can use this activity to create line items for documents that were posted before line item management was activated.
If you do not activate line item management immediately upon setting up a G/L account, all documents that are posted to this account are posted without line items. If you activate line item management for a G/L account at a later point in time, you can use this activity to create line items for documents posted before this point in time. You thereby ensure that the setting in the G/L account master is consistent with the indexes of the line items.
The report Switch On Line Item Display by Changing Master Record (RFSEPA01) belonging to this activity lists the selected documents and logs the number of line items created and the number of documents changed. With the list log, a separate log is issued for each document.
Requirements
Line item management is active in the master record of the G/L account.
Before running the report, you have locked the account for postings because any new documents to be posted might not be captured when documents and postings on this account are converted simultaneously.

Due to the long runtime of the report, we recommend that you schedule the report as a batch job.
