Use
In this IMG activity, you check whether the cost element is filled correctly in General Ledger Accounting for documents that are posted as part of the real-time integration of Controlling with Financial Accounting.
If real-time integration is active for a company code for which the local currency is being changed, it must be possible to fill the Cost Element (KSTAR) field in table BSEG.
Documents that are then posted as part of real-time integration from Controlling (CO) to Financial Accounting (FI) must contain the cost element. Namely, once the local currency changeover is complete, it is not possible to add the relevant information to the documents.
You perform this IMG activity as part of the Local Currency Changeover during the Central Changeover in the preliminary run.
Any errors that occur are logged. You can call the log in the procedure monitor (Monitor Preprocessing, phase ANALYZE)

BSEGdoes not contain theKSTARfield, implement SAP Note 1067350. - If the Cost Element field is not filled for a document that was posted as part of real-time integration, implement SAP Note 1036248.
