Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Specification Management (EHS-BD-SPE) and Recipe Development (PLM-WUI-RCP) components.
The BAdI is executed after the activation check for the extended program logic if this check is activated with the environment parameter SP_EXT_ECM_STATUS. You can use this BAdI to define additional checks (such as authorization checks) to deactivate the extended program logic or confirm its activation.

Standard settings

The BAdI is not delivered with a default implementation.
The BAdI always uses the same instance within an internal session.

Note
To fill the CHANGING parameter CV_FLG_USE_ECM of the CHECK_USE_ECM method, use the constant ABAP_TRUE (to activate the extended program logic) or ABAP_FALSE (to deactivate the program logic). If the parameter is filled with a value other than these, the system interprets the value as ABAP_FALSE and deactivates the extended program logic.
