Activities

  • Define the language-dependent status descriptions and status identifications for all languages you require.

General instructions

You can define different statuses and link them to each other (status network) for each document type.
In this IMG activity, you record an internal status key and a language-dependent code and description for all the statuses you want to integrate with your status network.

Recommendation

First decide which statuses you need to use in status networks for the document types your company uses.

Actions

  • Create the statuses you want to integrate with your status networks. You need to maintain these statuses for all languages you want to use in document management in your system.
  • In the Doc. status field, enter an internal key for your status. This key is only used internally for system checks, and is of no significance to the end user. You maintain the language-dependent code, which is relevant to the user, in the Status abbrev. field. Maintain this language-dependent code in all languages used in document management.
