Use
In this IMG activity, you check the following areas for the object ESTVA (value assignments):
- Object parameters
- Class types
- Class statuses
- Text types
- Classification statuses
Activities
In Customizing for Classification, choose Maintain Object Types and Class Types, position the cursor in the Object Table on the table entry ESTVA Substance Value Assignments and navigate to the following areas:
- Goto -> Details
Make sure that
- All fields are selected under Screens on the right-hand side
- No screen numbers are assigned under Screens on the left-hand side
- Class Types
Make sure that
- The object table ESTVA is assigned the class type 100 (Substance Value Assignments)
- All fields are selected under Screens
- The following fields are selected under Functions:
- Standard Class Type
- Hierarchy Allowed
- The field ECH is selected
- Class Statuses for class type 100 in object table ESTVA
The following statuses must be available:
- Status 0 (In preparation)
- In the detail screen, Class maint. is selected.
- Status 1 (Released)
- In the detail screen, the following fields are selected:
- Class maint.
- Classification
- Selection
- Default status
- Status 2 (Locked)
- In the detail screen, the following fields are selected:
- Class maint.
- Selection
- Text Types for class type 100 in object table ESTVA
The following text types must be available:

- Classification Statuses for class type 100 in object table ESTVA
The following classification statuses must be available:
Status 1 with indicator Released
Status 2 with indicator Locked
Status 3 with indicator Incomplete - manual
Status 5 with indicator Incomplete - system
Further notes
EH&S uses the standard class type 100. You should not change the settings delivered with the standard system.
