In this IMG activity, you define the origin of the data that you import into the SAP System.

To import data, the data origin must be defined in the administration section of the transfer file, and in the SAP System.

In this IMG activity, you also select the data origin that the SAP System should use as default when

  • Creating and changing data
  • Exporting data

Note:

From the specification management hit list, you can specify that the original origin of the data is to be retained. To do this, set the Retain data origin/provider indicator under Utilities -> Settings -> Data provider.

Standard settings

Standard settings are delivered.

The following data is required for report import:

  • Source system Dok-X
  • Exchange profile DX_SDB_IMP

Activities

  1. Call the IMG activity.
  2. Check the standard settings.
  3. Select the data origin to be used as the default.
  4. If necessary, enter the exchange profile that is to be used for importing or exporting data from this data origin.

  5. Save your entries.
