Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Maintenance Orders (PM-WOC-MO) and Maintenance Task Lists (PM-PRM-TL) components. You can use this BAdI to determine how the system automatically assigns operation-specific safety measures in the safety plan of a maintenance order or maintenance task list after it has retrieved them from a risk management system, such as SAP BusinessObjects Risk Management.
The BAdI is called if you select Assign safety measure using customer-specific logic (BAdI) as the setting for the automatic assignment of operation-specific safety measures in the Customizing activity Specify Safety-Relv. Plnts and Plnt-Specific Settings. Note that if you select this setting but do not implement this BAdI, the system automatically assigns operation-specific safety measures to all the operations that exist when the safety measures are retrieved from the risk management system.
Requirements
Standard settings
For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).
Activities
For information about implementing BAdIs as part of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.
Example
In your organization, order and task list operations are assigned to different work centers depending on the type of work involved, for example, there are different work centers for electrical work and mechanical work. You want the system to automatically assign operation-specific safety measures accordingly. For example, safety measures that mitigate risks of an electrical nature are assigned to operations carried out by the work center responsible for electrical work. You therefore need to create a BAdI implementation to define the logic for determining the operations to which safety measures are automatically applied. You can define this logic using the following information:
- Safety measure type and ID
- Certain risk data
- Certain risk response data
The system automatically applies safety measures to the operations selected as a result. These may vary for every safety measure to be applied in the safety plan.
