Use

In this Customizing activity, you maintain the internal and external attributes of generic object types that can be displayed on a map. The purpose is to provide a list of fields in the attribute manager so that users can personalize the information displayed in the tooltip and details popup windows of visualized objects.

You can also enter customer-specific texts for the fields.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Maintain the internal attributes of an object type by choosing the object type and then entering the following information:
    1. ABB ID
      2. The ABB ID dropdown list is populated with the generic object types defined in the Customizing activity Define Generic Object Types.
    2. Structure name
      3. The structure name depends on the generic object type.
    3. Field name
      4. The field name depends on the chosen structure name.
    4. Description
  2. Maintain the external attributes of an object type by choosing the object type and then entering the following information:
    1. External business system ID
    2. Data source
      3. This can be either geoprocessing or custom.
    3. External object attribute description, for example, protected or legal zones (for external objects) and latitude/longitude (for internal objects)
    4. Implemented class name (interface IF_GIS_EXTR_ATTR_MANAGER) that retrieves the attribute's data
      5. The data specific to the attribute is obtained using the specified data source.

The specified attributes appear for selection in the Tooltip Personalization for Internal/External Objects and Details Personalization for Internal/External Objects dialog boxes in the GIS map application.
