Use

In this Customizing activity, you define settings for business objects. You can indicate the ALE message type to be used for each business object, and you can determine the retention period for change pointers related to the business object.

If you define a message type, you must ensure it is possible to create Master Data Governance (MDG) change pointers from ALE change pointers by implementing BaDI: Creation of Change Pointers from ALE to MDG.

Requirements
