Use

In this IMG activity you define quotations for which prices are collected in the system. The quotation name in this activity contains details of the currency, pricing unit, and unit in which the quotation is given, rather than the actual price of the quotation.

The information contained in this activity is the source (origin) and type of quotation, and the commodity ID (quotation name). This activity also contains the currency and unit of measurement in which the price quotations are expressed.

It is also possible to link a calendar to the quotation name. By doing this, the system automatically recognizes closed market days on which no changes to quotations are expected.

Requirements

Before you maintain quotation names, quotation sources and quotation types must be defined.
