Use
In this IMG activity, you maintain application-dependent settings for the commodity pricing engine (CPE).
If you want to use the CPE in your application, you must set the Act. (activated) indicator.
For performance reasons, you can restrict the maximum number of terms used in CPE formulas. You can also define default rules for quantity and currency conversion and for rounding of intermediate results.
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system the CPE is not activated.
If you do not maintain the default rule for conversions, the CPE uses the conversion factors in the material master for quantity conversion, and the exchange rate type 'M' for currency conversion.
If you do not maintain the default value for rounding, the system does not round the intermediate results of the CPE.

Example
A reasonable value for the maximum number of terms to be used in CPE formulas would be 99.
