In this activity, you define the product views that you wish to use to group together related information in the product master records.
Once you have assigned set types to these views when maintaining product categories in the Maintain Categories and Hierarchies transaction, the views will appear as tab pages in product maintenance for the appropriate products. The set types themselves will appear as subscreens on the tab page.
If you wish, you can specify the order in which the tab pages should be displayed in product maintenance. Note, however, that if you specify a position for one of the views, a position must be given for all the views.
Bear in mind that when you enter texts for views, this is done in your logon language. Texts should be maintained in all languages you are using as these are required to generate the People-Centric UI. To do this, choose Goto -> Translation.

Activities
To create a new view:
- Choose New entries.
- Enter the view ID and description.
The description will appear as the tab page title in product maintenance.
- If you wish, specify the position of the tab page in product maintenance. Remember that you must then specify a position for all the views.
- Save your data.
Note that you can only delete a view if it is not used in a product category and is not defined as a default view.
