Use
In this activity, you can specify the order in which you would like your alternative ID types to be used.
The order you specify is decisive when a product has been assigned more than one category for which an alternative ID type has been defined. The main ID type is determined by the order of the ID types and is the ID type assigned the lowest value in the Order field.
The main ID type is displayed in the header data together with the product ID and description.

Example
The product "Illustrated Book" is assigned two different categories:
- "Books" with the ID type "ISBN"
- "Works of Art" with the ID type "Author"
If the ID type "ISBN" is assigned a lower value in the Order field than the ID type "Works of Art", the ID type that applies to the product "Illustrated Book" is "ISBN".
The main ID type for the product "Illustrated Book" is therefore the ID type "ISBN".
