Depending on the particular location (see Locations), this step defines that the substitute content server and not the default content server should be used as storage when you check in documents.

You can define a category other than the default category for each location.

Activities

  1. Perform the action.

    An overview of all the locations with the default categories and the newly defined categories is displayed.

  2. You have the following options:
    • You can go to the detail display.
    • You can change existing entries.
    • You can add new entries.
      • Define both the original category (logical category) and the new category (derived category) for your location.
    • You can copy and change existing entries.
    • You can delete existing entries.
    • You can revoke changes.

      Choose the corresponding symbol to perform the required action.

  3. Save your entries.

Further notes

If a derived category occurs more than once, the corresponding logical category must always have the same name. In this way it is possible to combine the derived category with the original category during transport, for example in the consolidation system. A category may only be used as a logical or as a derived category.
