You only need to carry out this step if you have set the agreement indicator for account assignment objects. If this indicator is set, then the account assignment object at posting has to be the same as the one entered in the asset master record. You make this setting for each account assignment object in the Activate Account Assignment Objects step.
The settings you make here in this step do not apply to account assignment objects, for which no agreement is required between the asset master record and postings.
In this step, you specify which error message the system outputs when the account assignment object entered during posting is different from the one entered in the asset master record. The system issues the message and makes account assignment to the acccount assignment object entered in the asset master record. The account assignment object entered in the posting is ignored.
The following settings are possible:
- No message
- Information message
- Warning
- Error message
