This business add-in can be used in the material ledger for multilevel price determination. In joint cost situations, it enables individual apportionment of the costs to the co-products. In the standard system, a valid apportionment structure from the material master is used to apportion the costs to the individual co-products. If production versions are being used, and if the Controlling level of the material is the production version, then in the standard system the production version is included when searching for the apportionment structure. You may wish to apportion the costs individually if the apportionment defined in the standard system is too inexact.
In multilevel price determination, the business add-in is called up once to cost each individual co-product. The interface makes the following import parameters available:
MATNR_PROCESS: Material number of joint production process (primary product/process material)
WERKS_PROCESS: Plant of joint production process
VERID: Production version
DATUM: Quantity stucture date
MATNR_OUTPUT: Material number for co-product
WERKS_OUTPUT: Plant of co-product
BWTAR_OUTPUT: Valuation type of co-product
The parameters MATNR_PROCESS and WERKS_PROCESS serve to identify the joint production process.
The parameters MATNR_OUTPUT, WERKS_OUTPUT and BWTAR_OUTPUT serve to identify the co-product currently being processed. Note that each co-product in a joint production process is made available through the interface individually.
The production version (VERID) and the quantity structure date (DATUM) are available as additional information and can be used when searching for a suitable apportionment structure.
The production version (VERID) is only supplied if the Controlling level of the material is the production version. Simply using production versions is not sufficient.
In multilevel price determination, the quantity structure date contains the last day of the period and can be used when searching for an apportionment structure to check the validity.

The structure ES_SPLIT with the fields:
CSPLIT: Apportionment structure
SCNAM: Source structure (if applicable)
And table ET_SPLIT_AQZIF with the fields:
SCZUO: Source assignment (if applicable)
KUPPL: Co-product
AQZIF: Equivalence number
The name of the apportionment structure (CSPLIT) is more for documentation purposes. You can use a different name if you wish.
A source structure only has to be specified if you want to use a source structure. Otherwise the field remains empty.
In table ET_SPLIT_AQZIF, the equivalence number (AQZIF) must be specified for cost apportionment for each co-product (KUPPL) that arises from the joint production process. If you are using a source structure, you must also enter the individual source assignments (SCZUO) here. It is important that this table contains equivalence numbers for all co-products and not just for the co-product currently being processed.
