The framework ID is the identifier of a framework, in other words, the set of hidden and visible components to execute in the CIC Front Office.

A CIC profile links together a framework ID, a set of components, and their profiles. It can be linked to an organizational unit or position in an organizational structure.

To create a framework:

  1. Enter a unique name in the Framework ID field.
  2. Enter a description of the framework in the Description field; the description is language sensitive.
  3. Enter X in the Framework Active field if the framework may be used now.
  4. Enter a valid title in the Title Number field.
  5. Choose the only valid screen in the Screen field.
