The Quick Keys component enables you to designate up to 12 pushbuttons as fast access keys for telephony functions of CIC. Quick keys provide fast access for an agent, minimizing mouse movement and scrolling down menus. You can place quick keys in any subscreen area in the Front Office framework.
You must decide which quick keys make sense for your particular application and the order in which they should appear on the screen. The Quick Keys subscreen displays two rows of pushbuttons, with six columns per row.
Repeat the following steps for all pushbuttons to be included in a Quick Keys profile:
- Enter a quick keys profile.
- Enter the row and column number to place the button.
- Enter the pushbutton function you want to place at the above position.
Recommendation
Try to put the function keys in the most ergonomic positions.
Changes can be made subsequently without difficulty.
