In addition to the profiles defined for callback queues, further attributes can be maintained which significantly control the screen layout and functions.

These comprise:

  • Callback partner
  • Contact person

Callback partner

The callback partner can be represented in the SAP system using different objects, for example, it can be a customer, an employee, or a vendor. The entity with which the caller is linked is defined using manual selection or automatic selection, and displayed on the screen using the callback partner text. The manual selection can be specified using matchcode parameters; the automatic selection supplies the identified partner from the Business Data Display of the CIC Front Office. Additional data can be displayed and read using the look-up function. A sample function CCM_SAMPLE_GET_CALLER_INFO_SD is delivered with the system.

Contact person

The contact person, as an individual person, can also be named in the return call and found using manual or automatic selection. A matchcode is also chosen here for a manual selection, and for an automatic selection, the source from the Business Data Display can be entered.

Additional controls, such as the display of the region, can also be set.
