In this work step you define which document data is relevant to the Internet Application Component . This is dependent on the document type. The field group contains the following fields:

  • Selection fields that should be ready for input
  • Display fields that are to be shown for each document in the hit list

Recommendation

To allow one user to be able to search for documents of more than one document type, you create the same field group for different document types. This field group is allocated to the user who wants to perform the document search.

Activities

You define a field group as follows:

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. Enter the field group.
  3. Enter the document type that you want to define the field group for the document search for.
  4. Set the indicators for the selection fields that you want to be ready for input when you search for the document.

    If required, enter a default value.

  5. Set the indicators for the display fields that are to be shown for each document in the hit list.
