Use

This Customizing activity enables you to assign one or multiple message category groups to a synchronous or asynchronous Enterprise Service.

For the messages that you assign to the corresponding service, the Error Categorizer specifies the corresponding error category and associated priority.

Activities

To assign one or multiple message category groups to a service, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Class Name field, use the Input Help for selecting the service to which you want to assign the message category groups.
    Note the following:
    • Synchronous services are offered (and accepted) for selection in the Input Help only if they are able to use the Error Categorizer. To find the services to which this applies, use the Customizing activity Synchronous Services Using the Error Categorizer.
    • The Input Help offers (and accepts) only those asynchronous services for selection, that are designed for Forward Error Handling (FEH).
  2. Choose the required Message Category Group.
    Make sure that the message category group starts with the letter "Z". If this is not the case, a modification occurred.
  3. Save your changes.
