The transaction statistics provide detailed information about the transactions in your company, broken down according to certain criteria.
The delta procedure is used exclusively for the transaction statistics. This procedure comprises an initial update and a delta update.
In contrast with the stock statistics, the initial update is only used for the transaction statistics to initialize the OLTP for the delta update. This means that no data is transferred to BW in the inital update. Future transactions are saved in the delta queue and extracted to the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) with the next delta update.

Standard settings
The DataSources for the transaction statistics are used as standard with a large number of characteristics. According to the project scope, you require only a portion of the characteristics for your analyses in BW.
