Use
In this Customizing activity, you can define the context key in Business Context Viewer (CA-EPT-BCV). The context key identifies the application and business object where BCV is used. It separates the BCV customizing of different applications.
In case you start to integrate BCV into a new application, you must define a context key first.
You use the defined context keys at the setup of queries. Queries and their query views are visible only in the applications whose context keys they are assigned to.
The context key is part of the key of dashboards and overviews. These objects are assigned to an application by means of their context key.
The system transfers the context key at the start of the side panel as one of the tags from the application using BCV to the side panel. It is used by the system to determine the BCV content of the side panel.
Requirements
The name of the context key must contain the namespace of the application using BCV.
