Use

In this Customizing activity, you can display Access Control Lists (ACLs) in which a user group is used as authorization holder in Business Context Viewer (CA-EPT-BCV).

The system displays the following data for each ACL:

  • Object Type (the BCV object type, for example, query view, dashboard for which the ACL is maintained)
  • BCV Object Name (the name of the BCV object, for example, Query View xyz)
  • The rights of the user group that are specified in the ACL:
    • Display (true/false)
    • Maintain (true/false)
    • Execute (true/false)
    • Administer (true/false)
    • None (true/false)
  • Hyperlink (opens the BCV object for which the ACL is maintained, for example, Query View xyz in the configuration center)

Example

You can use this activity when you want to delete a user group but cannot, because it is still used as authorization holder in ACLs. In such a case, you can display the ACLs in this activity, open the BCV objects to which the ACLs refer in the configuration center and delete the ACLs. When all ACLs are deleted the user group itself can be deleted.
