BED_WPBEZ_UMSCHLUESS
In this step, you define the meaning of the security ID number used by the data provider. With this number, you can define a secondary index for any data provider. You can then use the secondary index, which you maintain in the securities class data, to convert the security ID number. If you do not define a secondary index for a data provider, the security ID number is used to identify the security. In this case, no code conversion takes place.
Requirements
In the SAP R/3 System, you have to define the Class data of a security.
Recommendation
Ask your data provider for the security ID number s/he uses. You need this information in order to enter the relevant secondary index in the conversion code tables.
Activities
Determine the security name supported by each data provider. Assign the corresponding secondary index from the SAP system to this data provider. If you do not enter the correct external name for a security name in the SAP system, code conversion does not take place for this name.
