Use
In this Customizing activity, you can delete the query cache in Business Context Viewer (CA-EPT-BCV).
For performance reasons, the system uses a caching mechanism when processing BCV queries. For more information about the query cache, see the Customizing activity documentation Maintain Query Cache.
Requirements
Standard settings
Activities
You can clear the cache depending on the following different attributes.
- Delete by User
Choose this option and enter a user name to delete the cached data of the specified user.
- Delete by Date/Time
Choose this option and enter a date, time, and time zone to delete all cached data that was created before this date/time.
- Delete by Query ID
Choose this option to delete all cached data that belongs to the specified query ID.
- Delete by Search ID
Choose this option to delete all cached data that belongs to the entered search connector ID.
- Delete Orphans
Choose this option to delete inconsistent cache data. In general, no such data should exist.
- Show Log
Choose this option to receive information after the system deleted the cache.
