Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Professional Services (IS-PRS) component when the work period is converted between internal and external format.

You can use this BAdI to control the output value of the relevant internal or external conversion exit, thus influencing the result of the standard work period conversion. You can use a work period type other than the standard types week and month. For more information, see the Activation of "Pricing with Work Period" function and Working Period.

Requirements

This BAdI is only available if the following activities have been carried out:

  • The Commercial Project Inception and Lean Staffing PRS_ERP_CPILS_1 business function has been activated.
  • The Pricing with Working Period function has been subsequently switched on in Customizing, using activity Activate Professional Service Functionality.
  • The work period has already been defined for the sales items in the previous process step, that is, when creating the sales document as a billing request using the Dynamic Item Processor (DIP).

Standard settings

The BAdI methods do not provide default coding or a fallback class implementation.

Activities

The BAdI consists of the following methods:

  • CONV_EXIT_PRSWP_INPUT

    This method is called once when converting the work period from external into internal format.
    You can use it to adapt the resulting internal representation of the work period content.

  • CONV_EXIT_PRSWP_OUTPUT

    This method is called once when converting the work period from internal into external format.
    You can use it to adapt the resulting external representation of the work period content.
