Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Internal Sales Representative role.

You can use this BAdI to control the result list of the material search in the Lean Order OIF-based UI.

Requirements

  • You work with the new Lean Order OIF-based UI.
  • Note that the tab names and view names mentioned below refer to the standard UI template as delivered by SAP. If you work with a use-specific configuration of the UI, these tabs and views might have been renamed, shifted to other locations, or deleted.
  • On the Main View tab in the Item Overview view, you trigger the action Simple Material Search that allows you to search for and select materials, and transfer them to the sales document. The material search is based on the indexed materials of the Search Engine Services SES (SES business object BUS1001006).

    Annotation: The toolbar action Simple Search Material does not immediately appear in the standard UI template. You can add this action in the configuration editor for the item overview using the toolbar configuration.

This BAdI method does not provide default coding or a fallback class implementation.

Activities

The BAdI consists of the following method:

ADAPT_RESULT

Searching for materials using SES retrieves a list of hits. This method enables you to subsequently adapt the hitlist.
