Use
The Business Add-In (BAdI) IS-H MM: External Search Material Requisition enables you to look for requested materials in external sources or programs and transfer them into the material requisition. The BAdI can transfer requisitions with reference to an SAP material master and also free-text requisitions.
If you have activated the BAdI, a menu option for calling the functionality or an external program appears in the OU-related and case-related material requisition transactions.
Requirements
It is only possible to transfer requisitions without reference to a material master if you have maintained the basic settings for the free-text requisition for the relevant institution.
Once the materials have been transferred into the material requisition, the system performs the usual authorization checks. If materials without reference to an SAP material master were transferred, these must be assigned to the requesting organizational unit by means of catalogs.
