Use
The Business Add-In (BAdI) IS-H MM: Procurement Type/Document Type Determination enables you to influence the determination of the procurement type and the document type when a material requisition is created. You can stipulate whether the system is to create the material requisition as a reservation or as a purchase requisition. In the case of purchase requisitions, you can also influence the document type.
You can control the procurement type on the basis of the following parameters in the IMG activity Determine Procurement Types and Document Types in Customizing for SAP Patient Management:
- Institution
- Requesting organizational unit
- Material
- Issuing point/plant
- Free-text requisition indicator
If you need additional control parameters to those available in Customizing, you have to develop your own program code.
Following these guidelines will prevent material requisition errors:
- You must not create a reservation document for a non-stock material.
- You can create a free-text requisition only as a purchase requisition document and not as a reservation document.
